Welcome to Slay with Words!

A prototype Scrabble-like; Slay the Spire-like; rogue-like RPG.

This prototype was built within the 48 hour window provided. If I had just one more day I feel I could've really fleshed out the game-play loop.

Theme - "Power"

The goal was for different characters to have different "powers" that could be used by playing specific words, or placing a letter on a specific spot.

Instructions

Alert: First letter must be placed on the Godot icon.

You Goal is to create words that are in the dictionary to deal damage.

When you're ready to submit a word, click "Play".

To return the placed tiles, click "Recall".

To reset the camera view, click "Reset Camera".
